Who will you be joining?
Our client is a leading provider of automatic gates, barriers, and access control systems with customers all over the UK. You'll join this established business with a reputation for high quality products and services as well as excellent customer service, as their Area Sales Manager covering the midlands region of the UK in a field-based role.
What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for growing the sales region (10% growth target) by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing customer accounts. Key responsibilities include:
- Visiting customers regularly to thoroughly understand their business and how you can help them meet their goals.
- Building and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Put together a territory plan that highlights existing and new opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Negotiate contracts (pricing) that provide a win/win strong relationship.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Why would you be a good fit?
You'll be an experienced salesperson with a track record in a field-sales capacity, visiting business customers across the midlands to establish and nurture relationships - the ideal candidate has experience selling electrical products to installers or similar. Experience using Salesforce is advantageous.
The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and the willingness to travel extensively within the sales region.
