What will you be doing?

Preparing and presenting monthly capital reporting on additions and depreciation to support financial transparency and decision-making.

Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register to ensure accuracy and completeness across all asset categories, locations, and projects.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure precise reporting of assets, and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Performing key reconciliations monthly, ensuring timely and accurate financial data for reporting and audits.

Developing depreciation forecasts in line with group budgets, supporting strategic planning and financial forecasting.

Producing bi-annual capital reports at a statutory entity level for the group, complying with relevant accounting standards.

Managing audit requirements, coordinating with auditors, and resolving queries efficiently during bi-annual audits.

Supporting various ad-hoc reporting needs related to fixed assets, repairs, maintenance spend, and capital allocations as required.
Why would you be a good fit?

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA); strong part-qualified candidates may also be considered.

Experience working in a similar role in industry or within an accounting practice with a focus on fixed asset management.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial managers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and planning skills, capable of prioritising and managing a broad range of activities.

Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Sum Ifs).

Core expertise in financial accounting, reconciliations, problem resolution, and detailed data analysis.

Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure comprehensive and compliant financial reporting across multiple stakeholders.
